Darren Spencer has been a well-respected professional at Lakes Sotheby's International Realty since 2010, as well as being distinguished as a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP).  He brings a unique background in commercial development, real estate, and remodeling, combined with an obsession to know current sales trends and market conditions, to help clients navigate the complexities and challenges of relocation and all transactions. 

A South Dakota native, Darren's parents worked as a general contractor and a real estate agent.  Simply put -  he was born into the business.  After sixteen years of working in the commercial development industry there, he relocated to the Twin Cities in 2006. 

As a proud Minneapolis resident since then, Darren understands the appeal of a fantastic urban location, He is knowledgeable about the Twin Cities metro area and all that it has to offer. As a relocation specialist, he has supported many clients during their stressful and complicated relocations, applying his substantial expertise to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible.   And every day his goal is the same for all his clients – to provide the best possible buyer and/or seller representation services  and exceed their expectations.

In addition to his role at Lakes Sotheby’s International Realty, Darren owns and operates a full-service condominium remodeling and design company, Skyline Renovations.  His construction services have been featured in MplsStPaul and Artful Living magazines, and his real estate talents have been recognized numerous times in the designation of Super Real Estate Agent(s) by Mpls/StPaul. 

An audiophile and automobile lover, he appreciates spending time outdoors on the lake, enjoying Minneapolis' world-class dining scene, and exploring the city's architecture, design, and distinctive neighborhoods.
